   Creation of the Studios

Mesedilla Studios v9.0

Version 9.0 now has been released.

A lot of my visitors are still using 1028 x 768 resolution. Unfortunately, v8.0 was made for 1280 x 800 resolution. And most of them have requested if I could modify the resolution size for smaller viewing. Thus, I have created a new theme, v9.0.

This new theme sports a new color scheme and goes back to the old 2-column layout. I have also opted to remove some blog-related widgets. I removed mybloglog, blogcatalog, and last.fm widgets. My pages sometimes load very slowly because of these widgets.

And after 2 years and a half, I’m still not yet finished with the new pixel art design. I’m working on it.

Pixel Art v2.0 will still be the header for the journal while the gallery will still use the old pixel art, v1.0.

Mesedilla Studios v8.0

Version 8.0 now has a new web host, Cirtex Hosting.

I had to update my previous theme to be compatible with the latest release of wordpress.

After 2 years in the making, I still haven’t finished the new pixel art design but I’ll be using it as part of the new website version. This is a work in progress.

You can see my latest pixel art as the header of every journal. The gallery will still use the old pixel art.

Mesedilla Studios v7.1

Version 7.1 now sports a new layout and color scheme.

I had to move out of the old blue and orange scheme to make the site more relaxed. I changed it to blue, green, red and brown. The shades make these 4 colors blend with each other efficiently.

I also changed the layout. I made it wordpress template compliant. Why? So I can easily create a new layout or scheme without ever affecting the site again like the last change I did. Templates make website changes better. I also want to be W3C compliant. This allows more browsers in the future to render my website properly.

I have changed the forums layout and color scheme as well. I made it somehow look consistently with other parts of the website. However, I made some small changes here and there so that although it may look like other parts of the website, the forums will still have its own style.

Mesedilla Studios v6.1

The color scheme for this website was supposed to be orange. I dunno why orange. Weird huh? Eventually I settled for blue.

Anyway, so I started working on layouts. It took me like 5 layouts until I decided on the present one. I wanted this layout because it was different from other common single-left-navbar layouts.

I wanted the whole website to be Apache, PHP, and Mysql driven. So I started to browse for snippets or codes that I can borrow or better yet learn from. I found this wonderful software, shoutbox. Shoutbox is made by Brett Taylor. Now I have something new to share. Brett was very much helpful with his software. Thanks to him you can easily give short messages to me or to any of your friends online.

I will be releasing mesedilla studios v6.2 in a few days. It’s on its beta testing stage.

[It wasn't all that easy on finally having this website this way. As you can see this is version 6.1. It went through a lot of changes and modifications.

Of course, this website also went through a lot of criticisms and suggestions. Some were meaningful then some were plain useless. Then I put all things into focus and with that, mesedilla studios v6.1 was born.]
