I just finished playing Jedi Knight 2.
The people who made Soldier of Fortune made this game based on the Quake 3 engine.

I liked the way they made the lightsaber burn almost everything that it touches. Even your allies get “burned” when you accidentally touch them with the lightsaber. Hehehe!
The gameplay is amusing. You won’t get bored with just a first-person shooting option. You also get to view your character in third-person. The camera angles are great. Not like other games where you cannot see the enemy because the camera gets stuck on a wall or something.
The cinematics are quite good. One thing I don’t like about it is I can’t break out of the cinematics. I have to sit out the whole scene.
I played the game in normal Jedi mode. The AI is satisfying on that level.
The graphics are at par with games that have come out at this time. I like the detail that they gave in each scene. There are times when there are no light sources. The flicker of the lightsaber or the amplification googles is impressive.
Conclusion: I’m gonna play this game again.
