Studios deleted!!!

Yes folks!

I have accidentally deleted everything on my website.

I know it was really dumb of me to do a “r m -rf *” on my website root folder. For those who don’t know what that command does…

r m -> remove command for linux servers
-r -> recursive meaning everything including subdirectories
f -> force meaning it shouldn’t ask me any questions anymore
* -> everything

I was actually doing a directory search… “ls -la /etc/shorewall” This meant I was looking at a directory different from where I was.

So I thought that contents of my previous firewall installation was not important… so I wanted to delete the “/etc/shorewall” folder.

I forgot I was NOT in the “/etc/shorewall” folder but in fact I was in my “/home/studios” folder.

So when I started to delete the shorewall folder I actually deleted my studios folder.

It was really a good thing I have recently backed up not only the website but the whole server. Hopefully everything is back to normal. Please inform me of any errors that you may encounter in the website. Thanks.
