For other countries, it’s called Pioneer TS-T15. They have the same features.
A few months ago I bought a Pioneer TS-S15 tweeters for my car. However, it didn’t have any crossovers and high-pass filters with it. So I had to improvise. I need to create my own high-pass filter. It’s quite simple actually. You just need a non-polar capacitor of the right micro farad and you would have your do-it-yourself high-pass filter.
Now, I’ve been looking all over the internet for the right capacitor value for my car tweeters. As I was surfing, I came across this site: Car Audio - Speaker Crossover Chart
After purchasing a 4.7 uf non-polar capacitor, I went over to my car dealer and had it installed.
The tweeters improved my car audio quite impressively. Those who rode in my car were impressed with the overall quality of the sound. The tweeters added more detail to the music. The bass gave a lot of car shaking without the pain in your chest. But that’s another story. hehe!
